Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

nsfw-ai.app ("we", "us") operates an adult AI companion platform: conversational characters, image generation, image-to-video and outfit swapping. This policy applies to the website, all services offered through it, and any communications you have with us. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages — those have their own policies.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service:

• Account data — the email address you register with (or an anonymous account identifier if you sign up without email).
• Usage data — your conversations with AI characters, custom character definitions, generated images and videos, and tool settings.
• Billing data — plan, payment dates and transaction IDs. Full card numbers are processed by our payment provider and never touch our servers.
• Technical data — device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and error logs.

What we do not collect: real names, physical addresses, government IDs, phone numbers, precise GPS location, contacts, or browsing history outside nsfw-ai.app. If a service does not need a piece of data to function, we do not ask for it.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the service — running chat, generating media, saving your characters and preferences, and applying your plan's limits.
• To keep the platform safe and legal — automated scanning for content that violates our rules (such as imagery of minors or real people without consent), and manual review only when something is reported to us.
• To improve the product — aggregated, anonymized statistics about feature usage. This never includes the content of your chats.
• To communicate — service notices, security alerts and renewal reminders. We send no marketing email unless you explicitly opt in.

We do not use your private conversations to train AI models. Training data comes from licensed and synthetic sources only.

4. What we never do

• We never sell your personal data or your chats. There is no advertising network on this site and no data broker relationship.
• We never share conversation content with third parties unless a legal obligation forces us to (see Section 8).
• We never read your chats out of curiosity. Access to stored conversations is restricted to automated systems, and to senior staff only when you report a specific issue — and then only the reported message is reviewed.

5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process your data on these bases: performing our contract with you (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, abuse detection — balanced against your rights), and consent where consent is the only lawful basis (for example, optional marketing). You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the rest of the service.

6. How long we keep your data

• Account data and conversations — kept while your account exists.
• After you delete your account — everything is purged within 30 days, including backups and generated media. Some billing records are kept for up to 7 years as required by tax law, but they contain no conversation content.
• Logged-out sessions — if you use the free tier without an account, your local history lives only in your browser and is erased when you clear site data.

7. Who we share data with

• Payment processors — to charge your subscription. They receive transaction details, never your chats.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting and storage, under data-processing agreements that forbid them from using your data for anything else.
• Authorities — only in response to a valid subpoena, court order or other legal process, and only the specific data demanded by that process. Where a request relates to lawful adult use of the service, we notify you before complying, unless prohibited by law.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Stored conversations are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication and is logged. If a breach ever occurs that could affect your data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirming it, per GDPR Article 33.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage only: your session, your 18+ verification choice, and your preferences. There are no third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this site. You can block cookies in your browser; the service will still work, but you will be asked to verify your age on each visit.

10. International transfers

We use cloud infrastructure that may be located outside your country, including the United States. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards, and providers are bound by data-processing agreements. The content of your data is the same wherever it is stored.

11. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate data;
• Delete your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten");
• Export your data in a portable format;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent at any time (California: "Do Not Sell" — we do not sell data, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still submit the request).

Most of these actions are available directly in your account settings. For anything else, email privacy@nsfw-ai.app. We respond within 30 days, and we never discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.

12. Minors

This service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, the age gate exists for a reason, and any account we discover or reasonably suspect belongs to a minor is terminated and its data deleted immediately. If you believe a minor is using the service, report it to privacy@nsfw-ai.app.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way — for example, a new type of data processing — we will notify you by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated policy. Trivial edits (typos, rewording) take effect immediately.
